Hugh was the proud beneficiary of Ayr United’s first ever sponsorship deal. early in the 1910/11 season the local firm Stewart’s promised a coat for every player who scored two goals in a game. On 22nd October 1910 Hugh did just that in a 3-0 win over Cowdenbeath at Somerset Park. He finished the season with 11 goals.
Robertson, Chris - Defence
Chris played his first game for Ayr United on 30th July 2005. Born in Irvine, Ayrshire Chris has had 98 appearances since then, scoring 16 goals. He left the club in May 2008.
