No Joy for Latics.

Ayr United made the short trip to North Ayrshire for the first time on 5th May 1920 for an end of season friendly match against Muirkirk Athletic. The match was probably to keep Ayr United warmed up between the last league match of the season and the forthcoming Ayr Charity Cup Final against Queen’s Park at Hampden Park.

The score was an encouraging 5-1 win for the Honest Men.
