Disappointment for Ayr in Against Tigers

English Second Division side Hull City made their first ever appearance at Somerset Park in a pre-season friendly on 26th July 1975.

Ayr United had returned only a few weeks before from an eight match tour of Canada where the Honest Men had scored freely and the new Scottish Premier League was looming.

The match, for which no programme was produced, finished in a disappointing 1-0 defeat for Ayr.
