Good Average at Bayview

Due to the clubs playing in different divisions over the years not many matches have been played at East Fife’s Bayview Park. 1960’s encounters ended in small wins for the Fifers or draws. Ayr United recorded a win in a 1st division match on 27th April 1974.

It was the mid 1980’s before Ayr again played there and a series of draws culminated in a 3-1 win for Ayr on 21st December 1985 in a 1st division match. Again the clubs were separated by relegation and promotion.
