Derry Victory Brightens Up A Dismal Season For Ayr

Ayr United filed up a spare week at the end of an extremely disappointing season with a friendly match against Irish club Derry City. The Somerset Park faithful were at least treated to a flurry of goals to end their season on as United won by 3-0 on 26th April 1950.
