No Summer Success for Canada

On 3rd July 1973 Ayr met another select side named the Canada Summer Games Select and United had another resounding win - this time by 8-2.

The score featured hat tricks from two of Ayr’s forwards, Alex Ingram (who actually scored four) and George McLean. The eigth of this match was an own goal.

No progamme appears to have been produced.
